St. Louis Four School College Fair - Virtually!

Description
The Ladue College and Career Office announced that Ladue High School, in collaboration with MICDS, John Burroughs, and Clayton High School, will host the St. Louis Four School College Fair (virtually!) on Sunday, August 30th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Students and parents will have an opportunity to speak with college representatives from more than 100 colleges and universities from across the country. While the online format is unique, it is a wonderful opportunity for students to gain valuable knowledge and ask specific questions regarding individual programs, financial aid, scholarship, activities, etc.

Students can choose the sessions they want to attend, and representatives from the colleges and universities will be available to answer questions. To attend the St. Louis Four School College Fair, students should create an account using this link, https://lhwhs.cialfo.co/signin.

To create your account and register to attend sessions follow these steps:
  1. Select the “Sign Up” link on the left side at the very bottom of the homepage.
  2. Provide the necessary information to create an account.  This information will be shared with the colleges you choose to “visit” during the college fair.
  3. To access the fair and a listing of the sessions, log into the fair website (https://lhwhs.cialfo.co/signin) and click “Events.”
  4. Select “See All Sessions” under the St. Louis Four School College Fair heading.
  5. To register for a session, simply select the “registration” link on that session.
  6. All sessions for which you have registered will appear on the “My Sessions” tab on the left side of the homepage.
  7. To enter a session at the appropriate time, simply click the link to the session.
When searching for sessions to attend, it’s best to use the search bar on the top of the event homepage. You can also scroll through the categories (Business Management and Others; Business, Science, and Engineering; Business, Communications, and Others, ,etc) to find schools. Please note that just because a school is listed under a specific subheading does not mean the school only offers those programs. The representatives from each college/university are prepared to speak about all majors that college/university offers, not just the majors that fall into the subheading.

If you are unable to attend the St. Louis Four School College Fair, Ladue High School will be hosting many virtual college visits throughout the school year.  You will have additional opportunities to sign up for college visits through Naviance.

A special note to seniors and their parents:
In the next week, the College and Career Office will be sending important information about the procedures for the college application process for this year. The packet will cover information pertaining to requesting transcripts, requesting letters of recommendation, standardized testing, and other information generally covered during an in person Senior Night Program.
